9:32 PM I received a bouquet a flowers on my birthday. It was a surprise no doubt.
Baby celebrated my birthday with me and my stomach was all knotted up yesterday.
Daddy brought me and Baby out and wanted to get me a cake. It's his subtle way that's cute!
Present was delivered to my house on a motorbike.

I thank all those who remembered and wish my happy birthday. You know who you are and i'm grateful.

12:53 PM It's my birthday and my mum's busy cooking great food for me because i'm stuck at home with the stupid IS enrolment thingy. I better get into the class that i want or else it's such a pathetic way for me to spend my birthday. My mum bought me a cake and i'm not suppose to see it till nightfall. Oh well, i'm patient this way.

I received the beautiful pictures taken by "Wedunno" and i'm still waiting for the rest. Nidhi's such a sweetheart!

12:55 AM I'm back from my little trip and all i have was wonderful memories with the fabulous people. Imagine going on a trip with 13 people whom you hardly know and by the end of the trip, everyone becomes friends and crave to relieve the magic on the highland.
The trip there was memorable because we walked from Marsiling to JB before we caught a bus to Larkin. Reached Larkin at 12 midnight and we caught another bus to KL reaching at 4 plus in the morning. Walked around KL without the killer heat and traffic and ate "prata pisang" before heading back to KFC and waited for our bus to Cameron Highlands. We toured around Cameron on the first day and the sights were beautiful! The air was good, the temperature was cool and the view amazing though the tour at the strawberry farm was somewhat lacking. Steamboat at night was good, something warm on a cold night with good company and hearty appetite. "Wedunno" ate so much that i lost count of how many bowls of rice he had.
Breakfast together on the 2nd day near our apartment before we went for a jungle trek. The trek itself was tiring but Rafflesia was worth it. I had a glimpse of it from where i was standing because i don't want to venture anymore up the steep hill. It was almost a vertical ascent and i was stupid enough to look down while i was three quarter way up and my legs turned into jelly. Oh well, at least i saw the side view of the biggest flower and the dried up ones along the way. I shall wait for the pictures of the "Rafflesia" from the others who went all the way up. Lunch after the trek and it's back to the apartment for cleaning up. Walked all the way to town in the rain and chill at one of the local pubs there and we did a little bit of touring. Played games till the wee hours before we head back to bed and awoke to breakfast in the apartment. Bid goodbye to the penthouse and headed back to KL with the group. I toured Petronas Tower in KL before i head home and i regretted that i stayed on in KL.

1:15 AM Went for the free movie screening of the movie "Slam". I'm glad it's free because i think it sucks totally and the director is trying too hard to create motion sickness for his audience. The first part of the movie was so boring and totally redundant in my point of view and the exciting basketball scenes came near the end of the show. Was restless n fidgety during the show because my back itched. I believed that the whole patch of skin is falling off and is the reason for causing the damn itch.
Coffee after the show was nice, we sat outside Starbucks and bitched about the usual topics. I'm loving coffee like a coffee addict and now i can't sleep. I saw Jing Junhong the ex-national table tennis player too!

I shall go Ubi tomorrow to settle my stuff. I shall go get my motion sickness pills just in case. I shall go photocopy my passport and student pass tomorrow. I shall make a last min check of my luggage. I shall decide if i want to bring a book or my NDSL for my trip tomorrow. I'll most probably bring my camera and i hope the battery lasts.

I finished my 3rd book for the year and starting on the 4th. It's all looking good and i hope i'll stick to it.

All right, pictures for Sentosa's trip's up. I forgot to take pictures of us while we were tanning so these are all the pictures that i have, that can be shown. Bug me to send them to you and i will.

12:53 PM The sun was great on Friday so it was a prelude to what we are going to have on Saturday and it was great. Sentosa changed quite a bit from the time i last visited it. At least the monorail was not there the last time i visited Sentosa. We found a spot near a coconut tree and played Frisbee for a while before we settled down to tan. The sun was hot and now, I'm burnt. Red skin and in pain but i love it. At least I'm now tanned. Went into the sea to cool off before we went to shower. The sea water was saltier than i remember. I wondered when was the last time i tasted sea water and i couldn't seem to remember.


I went to Jeff Chang's concert yesterday too. He was pitch perfect and sang all my favourite songs starting with "Kuan Rong"! All my favourite songs when i was young and i used to own his cassette tapes. He was the only singer i have on cassette tape but technologies prevailed so i don't have them anymore. He was better live i think and the classical paintings that he beamed was beautiful. He was so knowledgeable about them and all the paintings were by famous painters - Monet, Van Gough and Edward Munch etc. Wonderful, wonderful concert!

1:02 AM I just booked myself on a trip to Cameron Highlands on the Good Friday weekend and i'm so excited. I shall go charge my camera's battery and prepare for my trip. Oh, i must remember not to accept duties on those days too! I'm starting to love my holidays where i can get to experience different stuff. Let's see what else will turn up during the holidays.

I spent my day at home today and decided to go change a new pair of spectacles. See what boredom can do to you. Anyway, this pair of spectacles is red too so i guess there's not much of a difference. I wrapped up my book too and finished up my reader's digest and played my NDSL so why am i still bored? I shall book myself a shopping trip soon and stop buying books where i don't have the motivation to read. I still have books that i want to get and yet i'm not reading fast enough. I shall just name them anyway.

I want "My Best Friend's Girl"by Dorothy Koomson, "Nineteen Minutes" by Jodi Picoult, "My Favourite Wife" by Tony Parson and lots more.
I want a backpack where i can stuff my barangs in and carry it everywhere with me.
I want clothes, clothes and more clothes.
I want money to fall from the sky so i don't have to run so much.
I want the night not to end, so that i don't have to face the noise in the day.

I like the peace, quiet and darkness at night. I must have been an owl or a vampire in my previous life.

Looking forward to our sun-tanning trip on Saturday and a surprise date in the evening. Not to forget my mum's birthday and my advance theory test that's coming up. Oh..my holiday trip too!

Oh man, i like this picture. It shows me shooting and i can't remember if the ball went into the basket but i looked as if i had the correct shooting posture. Wow..

All stars game was at AHS this year. It was usually at SBC in the past few years and i remembered my 1st all stars game partner. I'm tired, muscles are aching and yet i had to finish an article where i've got no idea where to start. I need to go get a cake later and i wish Baby's awake so i can hug her. My legs are no longer mine and my brains are exhausted.

12:48 AM Went book shopping today again with Jasmine and met the girls for the IT fair immediately after that. Bought nothing and i hate the pushing and shoving of the crowd. Saw Nathaniel Ho!!! He's super cute but i forgot to grab him. Damn it.

1:53 PM Oh god, i have been going out on fantastic dates with my friends, feasting on good food and good movies that the mother is jealous. I shall set aside a day for her and maybe she'll feel better.
I went to watch "Feast of Love" on Sunday after my vertical marathon and ate at Ichiban Boshi before buying loads of stuff from Marks and Spencer. After that, we went book shopping at Borders and we both got the books that we want and ate at the Big O Cafe. Too bad pictures were not available because i have been too lazy to charge the battery and bring my little camera out.

Yesterday was another great day out but the rain kind of spoilt the mood for me. I hate going out during rainy days but then again, it depends on the company. Finally caught "Juno" and the wonderful music during the show. Shall go check out the soundtrack someday. Ellen Page was good as the witty 16 year old kiddo who's impregnated by her best friend, who happens to be a geeky runner and his bouncing bits. She decides that she shall give the baby up for adoption and, in comes the beautiful Jennifer Garner and her beautiful house. Oh well, i suck at movie reviewing so i shall stop here. Saw the beautiful Vanessa from CP at Vivo yesterday too and i think she looks great in everything she wears. Dinner at Carnivore was a total meat feast and a great, different experience. Totally enjoyed myself stuffing my face with pork sausages, chicken thighs, bloody beef, lamp and all my different salads. Was so full that we had difficulty walking to Candy Empire where we bought chocolates home for the family :)

12:50 PM My weekends are packed! I did volunteer work at YMCA on Saturday selling hotdogs and fruit punch, wearing my chef's uniform. If only there's a tall hat to go along with it. Saw a lot of cute little kiddies at that place and they are all so adorable.
Officiated at TPY after that and it was a tiring game. The kids are so messy that it was so difficult to keep up with them. They went in all directions of the court and somehow, i got lost!

And today, i went for my first vertical marathon at the Republic Plaza. I managed to complete the 60 storeys within 25 minutes according to my timing but i might be off. It was easy doing 50 storeys at my place but it was pure torture climbing the 60 storeys at Republic Plaza. There was little air circulation and it makes breathing so much more difficult unlike the windy corridor i had. The most trying part was around 40 plus storeys! It's like, you went past the half way mark and yet, there's still 10 plus more to go. I was dragging myself up the stairs, trying to breathe and stopping the stars from spinning in front of my eyes but i pushed on and reached the top within half an hour. My motivator was doing a great job though. I guess without my motivator, i'll reached the top in an hours time. We took a photo after we came down but i looked horrible in it. My double chin was showing and i must get rid of it soon. I'm motivated to start my fitness program after seeing all those tanned and toned women and men at the marathon. At least, i can be tanned if not toned.
